The Development Direction of Domestic Cast Stretch Film Equipment: To Create a National Brand

With the rapid development of solar energy, wind energy, sea water desalination, electric power, optical and food industry, medicine packaging industry and other industries, the market for high-end film products have become increasingly demanding, such as high barrier film, multi-layer composite film micro nano laminated stack and etc. To meet the market demand,current domestic and foreign biaxial tension, cast film products are tend to be more functional and dedicated with complex direction like high performance,economically and low cost.

These optical film for solar photo voltaic systems, membrane separating film for lithium batteries and high transparent film, PVB film for glass and other film for micro filtration, ultra filtration, and multi layer high barrier composite film and other new products are relying on the plastic machines with advanced function, high yield and running speed,stable performance, low consumption,energy-saving.But at present, most of our domestic enterprises could not produce such kind of products and it has now become one of the bottlenecks that prevent our domestic enterprises from adjusting themselves into updated production structure and the development to produce high-end product.

In order to enable domestic enterprises and independent brand to be connected with international standards, narrow the gap with developed countries and improve our technical level to solve practical problems in production, many national enterprises have now developed cast stretch film equipment with international leading level through the accumulation of years of research and exploration experience.

These enterprises with domestically leading and internationally well-matched cast stretch film equipment technology have now filled the technology blank domestically. Their technology have provided favorable conditions for the development and production for the functional and biaxial stretching film products with high producing requirement.

Deputy managing director of China Plastics Processing Industry Association, Mr. Cao Jian, expressed his views towards the uneven equipment market: [I sincerely hope our leading enterprises can promote the domestic film equipment industry to develop and produce more products with our own characteristics as well as international advanced level to replace imported equipment relying on technological progress.Building national industry with our own brand is aimed to make contribution to solve the problem like homogeneity of two-way stretch film and cast film , low proportion of high-grade and functional products in the industry."
